The story of "Missing" begins when Kyoichi Sorame, a boy who asserted that romantic feelings are just an illusion, has a girlfriend. The people in the same high school literary club as Sorame couldn't believe that he, who was "a kind of psycho" and "existence itself is a theme park", had a girlfriend.
